Esteban Ocon's Austrian GP weekend was near-perfect, as the Frenchman secured his best finish of the season whilst also picking up points on the Saturday Sprint.

From qualifying to the race, Ocon was free of the reliability issues that have plagued his teammate most of the season and executed a fantastic race for the French squad, as he explained to the media post-race:

"It was awesome. It's a perfect weekend, I think, for us. There is nothing better that we could have done.

Top five, it's thirteen points in total we score this weekend. We gained a place, I think in the constructors', being fourth at the moment, so it's a really good one.

We are going to France with good confidence!"

Alpine would comfortably be in 4th place in the standings without persistent reliability problems throughout the season. Still, even with these issues, team Enstone has overturned the deficit to McLaren in the constructors.

Looking ahead to the upcoming French and Hungarian GP, Ocon will be hoping that he can continue his current momentum going into the summer break.

Comfortable knowing he has a long-term contract at Alpine, Ocon will be pleased with how things are transpiring this season.
