Yuki Tsunoda left the streets of Azerbaijan a frustrated figure, losing out on an opportunity to take good points after suffering a rear wing issue near the end of the race, forcing him to stop.


Things won't be any easier this weekend for the youngster, as he will be forced to start from the back of the grid after making complete changes to the power unit and turbocharger.

Alpha Tauri is among the teams whose reliability has been a weakness this season, with Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda suffering from issues in 2022. 

With this in mind, Canada is far from the worst track to start from the back of the grid. The Gilles Villeneuve provides overtaking opportunities, and Tsunoda will no doubt look to take advantage of these during the Grand Prix.

As the season continues, it will be important for teams to limit the number of grid drops they take from using excessive power unit components.
