Haas driver, Mick Schumacher has found himself in trouble during FP3 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The track is known for being harsh on the cars’ brakes so wasn’t a complete shock that Schumacher ended up with his rear right brakes on fire. Hopefully the team is able to sort the car before the qualifying session later today.

Sky Sports F1 took to Twitter to show how the flames tore through the carbon fibre brake surround. In a separate Tweet they said:

“A far from ideal start to P3 for Mick Schumacher’s Haas.”

F1 Pundit, Ted Kravitz, confirmed that he was definitely out of the practice session and the team will do all that they can to get the car ready for the qualifying session of the Spanish Grand Prix.
